Chamois D'Or Hotel - Les Gets

Great value and stylish hotel, all we needed for one night in Les Gets. The room was very stunning, big bed. Very very helpful and thoughtful staff, was willing to help with advice about anything.

Views appeared to be unpleasant.

It was a fully equipped, gorgeous hotel with amazingly attentive staff. The breakfast was sensational, they make variety of meals. The service was terrific and the food was fabulous!

great access to parks and charming local eateries

during my stay, I loved that I was just a short stroll away from the beautiful Lac des Ecoles, perfect for a peaceful walk, and only around 500 meters from the good Indigo Bar Restaurant, which served some amazing meals recommended by the staff who made us feel so welcome.

Service That Surprised Us

The staff greeted us with warmth and complimentary drinks. The breakfast buffet was a good spread, with an enticing variety of pastries.

The room was uncomfortably hot without air conditioning. We had to choose between safety or warmth with balcony doors open.

The chamois, i almost woudl ve been impressed, except my room lackd a balcony even though i specifically booked it, the audacity! Plus, they gave me dusty furniture and didn't bother to provide a mini fridge, how inconvienient. And to top it off, no special treatment was given despite my high standards. Very disappointing.

The spa area was a perfect chill spot after skiing, with a great jacuzzi and sauna. Our penthouse was super spacious with amazing views.

The Classic Double or Twin Room was spacious and really comfy. The decor was stylish and had a nice alpine vibe. I appreciated the great bathroom fixtures, and it felt well-kept overall. The pillows were a bit hard, tough to sleep well some nights.

Nice hotel with its fantastic bar, ski storage, spa & wellness centre, and free wi-fi. The staff even helped me find my lost necklace on my first stay, showing their dedication. I recommend enjoying the jacuzzi...  

I had a lovely three-night stay in a spacious Classic Double or Twin Room Plus. The breakfast spread was really good, offering a wide choice, and the bar's cozy atmosphere made for great evenings. The only downside was the noise from the bar area on some nights, which affected my sleep a bit. I would definitely return!

The spa facilities are luxurious, with a lovely atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding after skiing. The breakfast selection is excellent, with a wide variety of choices that kick off the day nicely.

Despite the appealing offerings, the restaurant is run by an external entity, which seemed to disappoint a few guests looking for great dining. The sauna wasn't functioning optimally and the adjacent steam room was too hot for comfort. It was a bit inconvenient when navigating between the floors. Some of the rooms are clearly not as advertised, lacking space and balconies that were expected, which might ruin the experience for families needing extra room for kids. Lastly, noise from the bar area can disturb sleep on busy nights.

The room provided differed substantially from what was advertised. Instead of the beautiful room with a balcony, a smaller room without one was given, affecting overall comfort, especially with a child. Guests felt misled about spa access, as it now incurs a fee, contradicting previous expectations.

The location is super central, and the breakfast was really plentiful with lots of options. The room was comfy and well decorated. The staff were so nice and helpful we felt really welcome. Loved the bar next door too, it was...  

The staff was willing to help during our stay. the location was perfect and nice, next to the slopes, convenient to go everywhere.

The fancy room looked cool and you couldn't hear a thing from outside - super quiet! the spot it's at is really great! 🌟
